Sign-up takes two steps (double opt-in): Viafro records your email address as “pending”, with the date, version and source of your consent and a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address (against abuse), then sends you a confirmation email from news@viafro.com; you are subscribed only once you confirm (link valid for 7 days). Every email carries an unsubscribe link. Emails are sent through our hosting provider’s mail server (o2switch). This data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Partner links and videos
A click to a partner goes through the site, which records the partner, the search and where the link was, without personal data; the partner’s site then applies its own policy. YouTube videos load only on click, from youtube-nocookie.com.
